ABOUT RIDE FOR MUSIC
Ride For Music is committed to the music education programs for America's youth.
RFM, through local community rides, long cross-state excursions and cross-country rides, will raise money to provide scholarships for kids in to music education programs. We will purchase the instruments and pay for the lessons to help instill and nurture the love of music in our youth. In most states, music education is being cut from public school funding.
Each student we sponsor is approximately $3,000 for the initial year, and $2,000 for each year that follows. These funds provide the instrument and the instructor the means to be able to teach the kids each year.
RIDE FOR MUSIC has no employees, and will give 100% of the proceeds raised from the cycling tours and events towards those efforts.
